Wow, the last ride of November turned epic, well at least for it being in November. Temps in the high 50s, no clouds in a bluebird sky and awesome single track right from my doorstep! I did the old Iron Horse race route mostly, with Raiders Ridge thrown in for fun at the end and finished with 32-miles and 4000-ft of climbing. It is only the second time I have ridden the South rim all season as I just do not venture down there too often, which is a shame. Bone dry single track everywhere, with the only hazards some packed ice on upper Telegraph and the Anasazi descent.
Temperatures cooled off significantly today, but I will soon leave for another ridge run - albeit with more clothes than yesterday. It could very well be the last ridge run of the year as snow is supposed to come tomorrow.
Good tunes here.
